Theresa Bernhardt, Team Lead
If you ask Theresa why she chose to make real estate her career for the past 29 years, you may find yourself surprised at her answer. “It’s not for the love of all things real estate,” she says. “It’s really that I love home and I love people.” Her sincerity for both home and people is evidenced by the lasting connections she makes with her clients. Her business is largely referral-based and includes multi-generational sales.
After beginning her career in real estate in 1993, Theresa joined Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains Realty in 2018. She has been named Realtor® of the Year in 2018, 2021, and 2022.
At year end 2022, Theresa ranked within the top 6% of her Board, and in the top 1% of the entire Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains brokerage. Last year, the team at TB Realty Partners received KWCLM’s Triple Gold Award, and ranked in the top 10% of all Keller Williams New England Associates.
Theresa continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the White Mountain Board of Realtors®.

Sharrene Henderson, Licensed Assistant
You could almost say that she was destined for a career in real estate. Theresa’s daughter, Sharrene, has been touring houses and meeting clients for as long as she can remember. Her earliest memories include a magical experience at a North Conway property for sale. “It had a gorgeous spiral staircase and a secret bedroom!” she recounts. “I’ve always loved discovering the ways people turn a house into a home.”
A NH licensed Realtor®, Sharrene also serves as Theresa’s in-house assistant. She is the team’s photographer, and helps ensure every aspect of your real estate transaction goes smoothly.
Sharrene is a Mount Washington Valley native, and out-of-town buyers benefit from Sharrene’s first-hand knowledge of the local school systems and her connection to the community.
When she’s not at her desk, you’ll find her outside: hiking and gardening in the summer, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, enjoying the beauty of the MWV all year round with her son Bobby and husband Keith.

After attending Penn State, John spent most of his professional career working in urban areas like NYC and Philadelphia. While the pace of city life was certainly exciting, he noticed that during his semi-annual vacations at his family’s home in North Conway, he felt invigorated in a more profound way. Talking about it now, he says, "Mount Washington Valley has always felt like home." Six years ago, he made the decision to move here and he hasn’t looked back.
When he's not working with clients, you'll find him outside enjoying the fresh mountain air: skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer. He is also a FAA licensed drone pilot and provides listing and area footage for the team here at TBRP. We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention his love for Wildcat Mountain, too. “It was definitely one of the main reasons I moved back here,” he says. When it's time to eat, May Kelly's is always first on the list. Buyers appreciate the insight he provides on how to get settled into the community; and sellers benefit from his suggestions on how to market their properties to attract the attention of those who may be relocating.

Karen Bemis, Realtor®
Karen is a lifelong New Englander. While she grew up in Rhode Island, she's been visiting the White Mountains in NH and western Maine for her whole life. In fact, one of her earliest memories is of camping along the Kancamagus Highway when she was just three years old. She loves the outdoors and that's where you'll find her during all four seasons: skiing and snowshoeing when it's cold, and hiking and kayaking when it's warm.
Karen has been a ‘Mainer’ for more than 40 years. During that time, she’s worked training dogs, breeding labs, and most recently, as a server at May Kelly's Cottage in North Conway. Throughout her career, her focus has been on cultivating relationships and providing excellent customer service. In 2022, Karen decided to pursue a career in real estate because it is such a fitting blend of the things she is passionate about and good at.
