Call us! We'll get started with your "Wish List," timing and schedule an appointment to review the buying process including representing you as your Buyer's Agent. Choosing a Buyer's Agent is critical and it's important you feel both comfortable and aptly represented.

Is buying a property as easy as it seems on HGTV?

Well, kinda. Though you're not in HGTV territory, Toto. While the process of viewing properties is equally as exciting as HGTV, the offer process is where the business starts. In both NH and ME offers are signed Purchase and Sales Agreement accompanied with Property Disclosures and other miscellaneous documents. Relax, though, as we've got it down to a science and have your back.

What does the process look like?

From the initial meeting to the closing table, the process includes:

  • Identifying properties of interest

  • Reviewing property disclosures

  • Scheduling a mutually-convenient time/s for showings

  • Depicting property/s of particular interest

  • Analyzing comparable properties

  • Establishing an offer amount

  • Preparing, signing and presenting the offer including contingency/s

  • Negotiating the contract

  • Submitting escrow deposit/s

  • Scheduling inspections as applicable

  • Providing all required lender documents (if applicable)

  • Coordinating with the title company for closing date

  • Walk-thru and CLOSING!!

Do I need to enlist the services of an attorney to purchase a property?

The short answer is no. Neither New Hampshire nor Maine real estate transfers require an attorney. As licensed Real Estate Agents, we're both schooled and experienced in the successful transfers of numerous transactions over the years. Additionally, as Realtors®, we've sworn an oath to adhere to a Code of Ethics that mandates we practice with integrity.
